March - Make academics THE priority
- Support ALL Saugatuck Athletic Programs
- Ensure that all athletes participate with the goal of keeping athletes engaged and participating long-term
- Practice each day after school
- Collaborate with higher-level coaches and athletes when appropriate
- Coordinate practices with other varsitycoaches - common system and verbiage
- Aid the varsity program if/when appropriate
- Continuously coordinate with the Athletic Trainer in regard to eligibility
- Work with the Athletic Trainer in regard to injuries
- Establish a communication line with athletes and familes of athletes
- Collaborate with other coaches if and when a dual-sport situation arises
- Comlete and submit a pre and post-season inventory
- Maintain sport-specific facility and fitness center and report any/all facility maintenance needs to the Athletic Director and Maintenance
- Provide proper safeguards for the maintenance and protection of all assigned equipment
- Perfom other duties that are consistent with the nature of the position and that may be requested by the Varsity Head Coach
- Complete any coaching evaluation
- Complete any/all applicable MHSAA rules meetings prior to the season
- Become CPR sertified or renew CPR certification (must be up to date prior to the beginningof the sport season)
