Full-time Childcare Provider

Job Summary :

Childcare Providers work under the supervision of the lead provider to assist with the care of children up to approximately four years of age. Work hours will be 7:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., 185 days per school year (185 care days correspond with teacher contract). Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

· Assist in maintaining a clean, safe and healthy environment.

· Assist with ensuring compliance of all childcare center requirements as a Legally Licensed Exempt Provider (LLEP).

· Work with team members, volunteers and guests in the program.

· Address basic interpersonal skills such as sharing, taking turns and asking permission.

· Help children with basic needs such as diaper changing, feeding, etc.

· Assist with supervision of children in all settings.

· Maintain a pleasant, comfortable atmosphere for staff and children.

· Other duties as requested as pertain to the care of children in the program.

Qualifications :

· High school diploma or equivalent

· First Aid/CPR Certification (if needed, corporation can assist with certification)

· Experience in a childcare setting preferred

Salary and benefits are determined by the Classified Compensation and Benefits Package.

The hourly rate range is $13.42 to $20.14.
