Paraprofessional Positions – ECC & Elementary
Roscoe Collegiate ISD is accepting applications for anticipated paraprofessional openings serving students at:
-
Early Childhood Center (ECC) – 3-year-old program through Kindergarten
-
Roscoe Elementary – Grades 1–5
We are seeking caring, dependable, and student-focused individuals who enjoy working with children and contributing to a collaborative school environment. Specific assignments will be determined based on campus and student needs.
Responsibilities may include:
-
Providing instructional and classroom support under the direction of certified staff
-
Working with individual students and small groups
-
Providing targeted academic support and teacher-directed interventions to reinforce identified skills
-
Assisting with progress monitoring and collecting student data as directed
-
Reinforcing classroom instruction, routines, and expectations
-
Supporting students academically, socially, and behaviorally
-
Assisting teachers with classroom activities and daily routines
-
Supervising students during arrival, dismissal, transitions, lunch, recess, and other school activities
-
Collaborating effectively with teachers, administrators, and other staff
-
Performing other duties as assigned based on campus and student needs
Qualifications:
-
High school diploma or equivalent
-
Meet applicable requirements for paraprofessional employment
-
Ability to work effectively with children from early childhood through elementary age
-
Ability to provide consistent support to individual students and small groups
-
Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills
-
Dependable, patient, flexible, and willing to learn
-
Ability to maintain student confidentiality and follow district policies and procedures
-
Previous experience working with children or in a school setting is preferred but not required

Anticipated multiple paraprofessional openings
Campuses:
Early Childhood Center (3-year-olds–Kindergarten) and Roscoe Elementary (Grades 1–5)
