NOTICE OF INTENT TO EMPLOY

POSITION: Premier Substitute Teacher

EMPLOYER: EDUStaff – This is a third-party position. The selected candidate will be employed by EDUStaff and assigned to Fruitport Community Schools.

SCHEDULE: Work each day that Fruitport Community Schools is in session and serve as a substitute teacher as needed in any FCS school building.

LOCATION: All FCS Buildings

COMPENSATION:

$145 per full day

$72.50 per half day

BENEFITS: This position does not include health insurance or other district-provided benefits.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Must have completed 60 credit hours

Must pass a criminal background check

Must complete all training required by EDUStaff

Valid teaching certificate preferred

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Must follow teacher substitute teacher plans as provided.

Ability to be flexible working in classrooms with students ages Kindergarten through 12th grade.

Ability to work collaboratively as a team member in any of our buildings.

Knowledge of Positive Behavior Interventions & Support (PBIS) is desired.

Knowledge of how to use technology as an instructional tool to enhance teaching and learning.

Follow and implement all Board of Education policies, administrative guidelines and building regulations.

Willing to perform other duties as necessary and/or directed by the principal.

Attendance is an essential job function for this position.
