2026-2027 School Year - Substitute Nurse Application

EDUCATION : LVN, RN, OR BSN CERTIFICATION

SUB NURSES WILL:

1. Assist the campus lead nurse when needed

2. Act as campus nurse when lead nurse is absent

QULIFICATIONS:

Graduate of an accredited professional nursing education program

Valid license to practice professional nursing in Texas from the State Board of Nurse Examiners

CPR certification

SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:

Physical, mental, social & emotional nursing assessment skills

Nursing skill and knowledge specific to pediatric nursing

Ability to develop student specific case management plans for chronic and acute medical conditions

work autonomously in school clinical setting

PAY RATE:

BSN - $115/day

RN - $105/ day

LVN- $90/day
