Full-Time Teacher Assistant
Location: Burlington County Alternative School (BCAS)
Position Summary:
BCAS is seeking a dedicated Teacher Assistant to support classroom teachers and students with behavior management, student supervision, classroom activities, and academic and social-emotional development. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with diverse student needs, providing individual and small-group support, responding appropriately to student behavioral needs and crises, and helping maintain a safe, structured, and supportive learning environment.
When assigned by the building administrator, the Teacher Assistant may also provide instructional class coverage during the absence of a classroom teacher, consistent with the requirements of their New Jersey Substitute Teacher Certificate, district policies, lesson plans, and established classroom procedures.

In compliance with New Jersey's Pay Transparency Law, the annual salary range for this position is: $23,454 – $30,582
