GENERAL DESCRIPTION (1-3 LINES DESCRIBING ROLE):

The baseball coaching position would be a commitment from November 30 to February 12. Duties include: scheduling practices, daily practice plans, emailing parents and families, distribution and collection of medical forms, equipment management, uniform distribution, supervising games and transportation to games.

QUALIFICATIONS:

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS :

Bachelor’s Degree

Coaching experience required

Ability to organize game and practice plans

Excellent oral and written communication skills

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS :

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES (NOT LIMITED TO):

Example:

Supervision of students before, during, and after games

Provide practice plans, structured drills, and meaningful feedback

Weekly communication with parent/guardian

Preparing the fields

Communicate with Athletic Director/Principal

Reporting injuries to Athletic Director and nurse

Punctual and professional

WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Work Environment:

Work is generally performed after the school day, however there are some occasions that meetings will occur during the day.

Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this job, the coach is frequently required to walk, stand, sit, talk, and hear. The coach is regularly required to bend, stoop, crouch and/or kneel. The coach is occasionally required to lift and/or move objects weighing up to 25 pounds. Must have sufficient mobility to navigate within a large school building.
