Director of Facilities & Transportation

QUALIFICATIONS

High School Diploma

Trade license in building or grounds trades, or a degree in Engineering, Architecture or Facilities/Building Management, preferred

Must possess or have the ability to obtain and maintain:

State of Michigan Wellworks System Operators Licence D-5 and S-5

AHERA Operations/Maintenance Licence/Certificate

Demonstrated knowledge of basic principles regarding construction, maintenance, security, HVAC and grounds

Experience in a school transportation program, including knowledge of school bus traffic laws, mechanics, safety and routing

Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills, along with proficiency with computers

Demonstrate a commitment to Ionia Public Schools Strategic Plan and core values

Demonstrated ability as a leader through excellent communication skills and ability to create a positive team culture

Ability to plan, organize, and execute the full range of administrative tasks
