Description:
This Educational Technician II position will provide direct support in behavioral intervention participating in the Social Skills / Behavior Program. The Ed Tech II works as a member of the school support team to help students develop the social, emotional, behavioral, communication, and self-regulation skills necessary to successfully participate in our school environment. The successful candidate must have the skillset to observe students and collect data necessary to inform and prepare interventions.
Qualifications:
- Maine State Law requires all school employees to be fingerprinted and pass a Criminal History Records Check (CHRC) For more information please visit: https://www.maine.gov/doe/cert/fingerprinting
- Must be eligible for and apply for or have authorization as an Educational Technician II through the Maine Department of Education (MDOE). Please visit https://www.maine.gov/doe/cert for more information.
- Experience working with children who have social, emotional, or behavioral disabilities is preferred, but not necessary.
