Spruce Mountain High School
Description:
Instruct high school athletes in the development of skills and teamwork while instilling sports ethics, rules and safety. Develop a strong team environment, which includes respect for the school, opponents, officials, and the community.
Qualifications:
- Maine State Law requires all school employees to be fingerprinted and pass a Criminal History Records Check (CHRC) for a Department of Education.
- Knowledge of the sport through participation, clinics, and / or prior coaching experience.
- Coaching certificate through the Maine Principals Association (MPA).
- First Aid and CPR
All interested candidates should submit:
- Completed RSU #73 Coaching Application
- 2-3 current letters of recommendation with contact information
- CHRC Certification
- All other certifications and training documentation
Payscale for coaching is based on a point system: Min. 4 points $1,903.76 to Max. 15 points $7,139.10
