FTC Robotics Advisor (district-wide)

Position Criteria:

Demonstrate aptitude for performing tasks listed

Must exhibit ethical practices and be a role model to students.

Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable

Performance Criteria:

Has an understanding of the teaching-learning process and the necessity of working with the students.

Knowledgeable about FTC Robotics– goals, purposes, structure, bylaws, educational initiatives, etc.

Provide leadership development experiences for all members of the team.

Assist students in developing a meaningful Program of Work and Calendar of Events.

Oversee all functions of the team such as meetings, practices, competitions, maintain records and financials, fundraising activities, etc.

Keep administration, local businesses, community, parents, teachers, school staff, and local media informed of activities.

Keep members informed of activities at the regional, state, and national levels and encourage them to participate in all levels.

Be committed to each student, welcome the diversity, and be a positive role model in actions and deeds.

Travel with students to local and national and activities and competitions.
