- Bachelor's Degree is preferred, capable of performing the responsibilities as required.
- Previous work with students who are part of "at-risk" sub groupings is preferred;
- Previous work with middle or high school age students is preferred, but not required;
- $23.34 hourly, no other benefits
- Hours: Monday to Thursday: 7:15 to 3:00 - Friday: 7:15 to 2:30
- Deliver MTSS Tier 2 Academic Interventions: Facilitate Supported Study Halls and Flex blocks to guide students with assignment completion, study skills, assessment preparation, and teacher communication.
- Monitor & Log Academic Progress: Perform regular grade checks via PowerSchool, maintain detailed daily tracking logs on student performance and behavior, and share data with counselors, administrators, and families during at-risk meetings.
- Manage Athletic Eligibility & Documentation: Cross-reference grade reports against sports rosters at quarterly checkpoints to determine eligibility, generate and distribute official athlete notification letters, and direct appeal requests to the Athletic Director.
- Supervise After-School Athletic Study Hall: Facilitate a structured, quiet study environment Monday through Thursday, maintain rigorous attendance logs, enforce school conduct and phone policies, and report attendance compliance to athletic administration.

Serve as Primary Open Choice Program Liaison: Act as the dedicated point-of-person and advocate for New Haven students enrolled in the Open Choice program; oversee daily morning/afternoon bus arrivals, coordinate late transportation logistics with ACES/Dattco, and assist students with academic or transition needs.
