Substitute Cleaner – Ongoing Vacancy

Carmel Central School District is seeking qualified candidates to serve as Substitute Cleaners on an as-needed basis throughout the district.

Substitute Cleaners provide temporary custodial support in district buildings when regular staff members are absent.

Responsibilities may include:

Cleaning and sanitizing classrooms, offices, restrooms, and common areas

Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and maintaining floors

Emptying trash and recycling

Cleaning and restocking restrooms

Maintaining clean and orderly building areas

Assisting with room setup and breakdown as needed

Performing other related custodial duties as assigned

Schedule: As needed; assignments vary based on availability and district needs.

This is an ongoing vacancy. Applications will be accepted and reviewed on a continuous basis as substitute needs arise.
