Franklin Township Board of Education - Schedule: Monday through Friday.
- 2026-2027 School Year
- Provide instructional reinforcement for students
- Attend to student's physical, personal, academic, and emotional needs
- Support students with special needs by following provisions specified in their IEPs/504 Plans
- Assist with administrative duties such as setting up equipment and preparing materials
- Assist teacher with classroom management and general supervision of the class as needed
Perform other duties as directed by the classroom teacher and/or school administration
- High School diploma; college level coursework in education or related field preferred
- Substitute Teaching Certificate desired
- Ability to communicate effectively with students and school staff.
- Possess the desire to work with an understand children with learning and behavioral changes.
- Physical requirements: Sitting, standing, lifting and carrying, reaching, squatting/kneeling as appropriate to meet the physical demands of the educational setting.
- Required criminal history check and proof of U.S. citizenship or resident alien status
- Current Residency in New Jersey, approved residency waiver or candidate agrees to obtain residency within one year of employment.

- Salary as per the QEA - Range $30,990 - $41,216 (based on degree level)

The Franklin Township School District (Hunterdon County) is seeking a passionate and dedicated Paraprofessional to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will assist the classroom teacher and/or special education student or students to provide them with physical and emotional support as needed to gain optimum benefit from the district's special education program.
