Title: Long-Term Intervention Specialist - Riverside Campus
November 16, 2026, through February 5, 2026, due to staff on leave
Classification: Certified/Teaching
Qualifications: Certified / Licensed Teacher, State of Ohio, in the following area(s): Intervention Specialist - K-12, Mild to Moderate
Reports to: Respective Administrator
Position Goals: To provide leadership to students as they progress toward the fulfillment of their academic goals in a school setting which promotes intellectual, emotional, psychological and physical well-being and maturation.
Terms of
Employment: Initial 30 workdays will be employed through the ESC-NEO as a contracted Long-Term Substitute. On day 31 - employment will transfer to
Riverside Local Schools on a Limited, long-term contract for the dates of coverage needed during the 2026-2027 school year will be issued.
Additional employment in compliance with O.R.C. Section 3319.081(A) and district Policy Section 3124.
Funding: General Fund
Limitations: As outlined in district Policy Section 3120, Employment of Teaching Staff, District Rules & Regulations Section 3120 (A-F),
Professional Employees, and the contract between the Riverside Local Education Association and Board of Education.
