Description
School Union 69 has an immediate opening for a contracted Occupational Therapist for the 2026 - 2027 school year. This part-time, contracted position is at the Hope Elementary. This position will serve grades K-8.
Qualifications:
- Maine Occupational Therapist Certification and Licensure
- Maine Criminal History Background Check
- Experience in an educational setting preferred.
Reports to: Special Education Director
Candidate will:
- Provide occupational therapy services to identified students, including direct occupational therapy and consultation.
- Be familiar with and be able to complete required State Special Education paperwork associated with assessments, evaluation reports, IEPs and progress reports.
- Attend IEP meetings.
- Collaborate with teachers and other service providers to assist in making modifications and accommodations in their classroom.
- Applicants for this position must have the appropriate education, background, experience and licensure.
