There is an opening for an early childhood instructional assistant for the remainder of the 2026-27 school year. The individual filling this position must possess a valid Paraprofessional License registered in Region 06. This is a temporary position for the remainder of the 2026–2027 school year; however, there is potential for the position to become permanent for the 2027–2028 school year, either in the same classroom or in a different classroom within the district.
The EC Paraprofessional supports students with significant academic, behavioral, developmental, and communication needs within a highly structured classroom environment. This role works under the direct supervision of a certified Special Education Teacher to implement individualized education programs (IEPs), assist with visual schedules and structured teaching systems, collect data, manage personal care needs such as toileting, and support student safety.
