- Assist with food preparation and meal distribution.
- Serve students the correct portions in accordance with the National School Lunch Program (NSLP) and other applicable requirements.
- Assist with maintaining a clean and sanitary kitchen, serving, and dining areas.
- Follow all district, food service, health, and safety policies and procedures.
- Assist with proper storage and handling of food and supplies.

- High School Diploma or GED.

Job Description
Position: Food Service Assistant Location: District Wide
Employment Type: Full-Time Work Schedule: 10-Month Position
FLSA: Exempt Reports to: Building Principal/Head Chef
Job Summary
The Food Service Assistant supports the preparation and service of meals to students and staff while maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary food service environment. The position follows district, state, and federal food service requirements and supports the daily operations of the food service program.

Starting Salary: $18.50 per hour
