The Chippewa Falls School District is seeking a Limited Term Special Education -Educational Assistant at Stillson Elementary for 6 weeks. After 6 weeks students needs will be assessed to determine if the position will continue another 6 weeks. This is a limited term position that works 4 hours a day from 8:15 am to 12:15 pm.
*PLEASE NOTE: You must complete required training yearly in order to be employed by our District.
Required:
•High School diploma or GED.
•Certified or certifiable as Special Education Program Aide.
•Ability to lift and move up to adult-size students
•Must meet the requirements for ESSA (Every Student Succeeds Act) which is an associate degree or equivalent of 2 years higher education (48 semester credits) unless individual has been grandfathered through the testing process.
•Experience in supervising structured youth activities.
•NVCI Certification. Must obtain as soon as district schedules.
•Willingness to take CPR when offered by the district.
