District Lead Nurse

Florence 1 Schools is seeking an experienced, dedicated nursing professional to serve as our District Lead Nurse . This leadership position provides an exciting opportunity to guide school health services, support nursing professionals, and promote the health, safety, and well-being of students across our district.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide districtwide clinical leadership, guidance, and support to school nurses.

Coordinate student health services, nursing procedures, and emergency preparedness.

Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, district policies, and professional nursing standards.

Lead professional development, mentoring, and training for school nursing staff.

Collaborate with families, healthcare providers, and community partners to support student wellness.

Minimum Qualifications:

Current, unrestricted South Carolina Registered Nurse (RN) license.

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution.

Minimum of three years of recent professional nursing experience.

Current CPR/AED certification.

Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and clinical decision-making skills.

Position Details:

Full-Time | Exempt

240-Day Work Agreement

Salary Scale: RN03
