Family and Consumer Science Teacher

The Chichester School District is currently seeking a qualified and passionate Family and Consumer Science Teacher to join our team. We are looking for an individual who can create an engaging and supportive learning environment, with a strong focus on helping students develop real-world skills.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Develop and issue educational content, including notes, tests, and assignments

Supervise classes to ensure all students are learning in a safe, respectful, and productive environment

Grade assignments, assess and track students’ progress, and plan educational activities tailored to varying learning levels

Collaborate with colleagues and administrators to support student success and implement district initiatives

Maintain accurate records and communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student performance

Uphold school policies, procedures, and professional ethics

Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school events

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s and/or Master’s Degree in Education or related field

Possesses or is able to acquire a valid Pennsylvania Family and Consumer Sciences/Home Economics (PK-12) Certification
