School Counselor - Long Term Substitute

The State College Area School District is accepting applications for a long-term substitute School Counselor at Park Forest Elementary School. This temporary position tentatively begins November 16 and tentatively ends in early January.

The ability to establish relationships with students and collaborate with colleagues is critical to success in this position. The successful candidate must demonstrate a commitment to diversity and recognize that equity and inclusivity are foundational to ensuring every student has opportunities to grow, thrive, and fulfill their potential through caring, responsive education.

The District seeks dynamic, energetic educators who are student-focused and have knowledge of both theory and practice specific to the education of K-12 learners. Organizational and collaborative skills are critical to success in this position. The District is searching for candidates who demonstrate a commitment to professional growth and development and also possess a variety of professional experiences.
