ASAP - Collaborate with colleagues both in the school and other STEM specials teachers in CH-UH schools
- Ensure students are learning all subject material by appropriately assessing on a regular basis
- Effectively communicate with building principals, central office staff and STEM special teachers
- Follow and provide feedback on the scope and sequence of the instructional program as defined in the Board of Education approved courses of study
- Follow the defined schedule for teaching the STEM special at the designated building(s) and time(s)
- Ohio Teaching License - Elementary (PreK-3), K-8, or 1-8
- Meets all mandated state/federal criteria (i.e., approved degree, completion of requisite higher education credit hours/courses, or acceptable score on an authorized professional standards test).
- Ability to communicate ideas and directives clearly and effectively both orally and in writing
- Effective, active listening skills
- Organizational and problem solving skills
- Training in varied instructional design
- Knowledge of child development and an understanding of age appropriate tasks
- Knowledge of STEM and its effective application to an elementary environment
- Experience working in a multicultural environment
- Demonstrated knowledge of learning and change theory
- Ability to provide high quality evidence based professional development and coaching
- Extensive knowledge of STEM and its effective application to an elementary environment
