- Knowledge of irrigation repair (minor)
- Ability to perform preventative maintenance of lawn equipment, vehicles, etc.
- Possess valid NJ driver's license
- Must be reliable, self starting individual
- Must be flexible with days/hours
- Ability to operate field grooming equipment
- Maintains, care for and preps playing fields, grounds and other necessary facilities for athletics and other school activities
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
- Must be able to obtain a low pressure black seal boiler license within 1 year of hire date
- Must be able to obtain a pesticide license with 3b/core turf category within 1 year of hire date
- Must be able to lift 75lbs
- Must be able to obtain a NJ Fertilizer License
- CDL with airbrake endorsement
- Knowledge of lawn mowing and snow removal procedures
- Experience working for a school district/university
- Experience operating heavy equipment
