Assistant Coach – Dive/Swim (Girls) - Lees Summit HS

2026-27 School Year

Description: The Assistant Coach is responsible for assisting with planning, managing and directing the high school Dive/Swim team program. Specific shall include, but are not limited to the following tasks:

Assistant Coaching the Dive/Swim team.

Assist with managing all aspects of the program including practicing, competing, providing off-season improvement opportunities to include strength and conditioning and full usage of contact days

Marketing and promoting the Dive/Swim program.

Assistant Coaching, guiding, and providing feedback to student athletes

Scouting opponents.

Assist with managing a fiscally sound budget

Assist with monitoring class schedules, grades and student-athlete academic progress, and intervening where appropriate.

Responsible for Dive/Swim student-athlete retention

Articulation with the feeder middle school program

Providing summer camp opportunities for elementary and/or middle school students
