HIGH SCHOOL ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT – ATHLETICS & FRONT OFFICE

REPORTS TO: High School Principal and Athletic Director

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES

Serve as the primary receptionist for the High School/Athletics.

Answer and direct incoming phone calls.

Greet and assist students, parents, staff, and visitors.

Maintain visitor management and building access procedures.

Process student attendance, early dismissals, and student sign-in/sign-out procedures.

Maintain attendance records and communications with parents.

Prepare daily announcements and building communications.

Order office and athletic department supplies.

Maintain office filing systems and records.

Process purchase orders and operational documentation.

Maintain athletic records and databases.

Maintain Arbiter and related building/athletic management systems.

Coordinate athletic transportation requests and schedules.

Assist Athletic Director with coordinating athletic contest schedules and facility use requests.

Run academic eligibility reports.

Report Master Eligibility Rosters to MHSAA.

Coordinate athletic awards and recognition programs.

Maintain athletic inventory and roster records.

Coordinate contest workers and event personnel.

Assist with athletic communications and event coordination.

Assist administrators with reports, correspondence, and projects.

Maintain confidentiality of student and district information.

ADDITIONAL DUTIES

Provide office coverage during absences of other office personnel.

Assist students with routine questions and building procedures.

Assist staff as approved by the administrator.

Other duties assigned by the supervisor
