Cafeteria Helper - LIS

Job Description:

Employees in this position can expect to perform a wide range of task which can include operating a dish machine, working on the serving line, assisting students with opening lunch products (milk, chips, etc), wipe down tables, monitor students to ensure they are behaving, ensure napkins, condiments, and straws are filled.

This position is for 4.5 hours/day working 8:15am to 1:15pm.

This position is for 180 days and follows the student school year calendar

Job Requirements:

Strong attendance a must, good customer service, high level of patience, friendly personality, and able to be on your feet and walking for multiple hours

Upon offer, applicant must complete and clear a drug screen and an expanded criminal history background check for school personnel as required by IN state law

Job Qualifications:

This position requires a High School Diploma/ GED

Food handling sanitation knowledge helpful.

PERF (Public Employees Retirement Fund) mandatory if working over 5.5 hours/day or more or an option to participate if working 3.5-5.5 hours/day
