- Teach basic tennis skills, rules, and game strategy
- Supervise athletes during practices, competitions, and travel
- Promote sportsmanship, teamwork, and respect
- Communicate with athletes, parents, and the athletic department
- Ensure student-athletes meet eligibility and academic expectations
- Follow school, district, and athletic association policies
- Maintain equipment and prioritize player safety
- Knowledge of tennis fundamentals
- Coaching or playing experience preferred
- Ability to work well with middle school students
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- CPR/AED and required school certifications (or willingness to obtain)
