Christ Child Academy, a five-star Catholic school in Sheboygan (Wisconsin DPI Report Card: Significantly Exceeds Expectations), is seeking a passionate, dedicated, and collaborative Middle School English Language Arts (ELA) Teacher for grades 6–8, starting November 30, 2026.
You would not be walking into a cold start. Our long-term substitute has the classes running on an established curriculum map with lesson plans in place, and you would join a small, supportive middle school team in a faith-filled school community celebrating its 40th anniversary this year. Individuals considered for this position will:
- Instructional Leadership: Plan, prepare, and deliver comprehensive ELA lessons aligned with state and archdiocesan standards for grades 6–8.
- Standards-Based Grading: Implement and maintain a standards-based grading framework, focusing on student mastery of specific learning targets and providing actionable, timely feedback.
- Technology Integration: Leverage Google Classroom as the primary learning management system for assignments, resources, and student collaboration.
- Data & Communication: Utilize PowerSchool for daily attendance, tracking student evidence of learning, and maintaining clear, accurate communication with families.
