CESA 7 is seeking a part-time Speech and Language Pathologist to provide services at multiple sites, with some limited opportunites for remote work.
Opportunity:
The Speech and Language Pathologist will function as part of CESA 7's Special Education team, providing comprehensive speech and language therapy to students in multiple school districts.
Duties:
- Assess, screen, and evaluate students referred for speech & language concerns using accurate and current assessments.
- Collaborate as an active IEP team member, developing appropriate goals, benchmarks, treatment plans and strategies.
- Design and deliver specially designed instruction to students needing services in the area of speech and language.
- Develop treatment plans and therapeutic programs.
- Maintain records.
- Complete treatment logs, Medicaid billing, and other related documentation.
- Conduct in-service programs on a variety of speech and language topics.
- Consult with and train parents, teachers, and support staff.
- Identify students with AAC needs.
- Management of a caseload that consists of multiple students from multiple districts
- Ability to obtain and maintain an active driver's license.
