RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Deliver standards-based lessons aligned with New York State learning standards.
- Differentiate instruction based on students’ language proficiency and individual learning needs.
- Support language acquisition and literacy development, including vocabulary, pronunciation, and academic writing.
- Assess and monitor student progress using formative and summative assessments, including preparation for NYS assessments.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, interventionists, and support staff to support multilingual learners.
- Maintain accurate student records and documentation.
- Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress and learning goals.
- Participate in professional development and school-wide initiatives.

- Job Qualifications
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must possess or be eligible for New York State Elementary Certification
- Must possess or be eligible for New York State TESOL Certification
