The successful candidate has a demonstrated ability to perform cleaning and caring for school buildings.
Responsibilities:
- Clean and disinfect classrooms, offices, hallways, restrooms and common areas.
- Sweeps, mop, strip, and wax floors.
- Dusts woodwork, furniture, and other articles.
- Washes windows, doors, and walls.
- Move and arrange furniture and equipment as needed.
- Replace light bulbs, towels, soap and other supplies.
- Remove trash and recyclables.
- Assist with room setups (events, meetings, school functions).
- May be assigned to other labor tasks as required.
- Job Qualifications
New York State fingerprint clearance and Civil Service approval required. Salary as per MESPA contract. This is a full-time, 12-month position with hours of 8:30am – to 5:00pm, Monday through Friday.
