Long-Term Middle/High School Language Arts Teacher

Reading Specialist/Intervention Experience Preferred

Delsea Regional School District is seeking a compassionate, skilled, and collaborative ELA Teacher to serve students in a middle school/high school Language Arts classroom.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging, standards-aligned ELA instruction consistent with state learning standards and district curriculum.

Teach reading comprehension, vocabulary development, literary analysis, informational text analysis, writing, grammar, and language skills.

Incorporate explicit modeling, guided practice, independent practice, and scaffolded instruction to support mastery of learning objectives.

Differentiate instruction to address varied reading levels, learning needs, and academic abilities.

Integrate accessible instructional materials, technology, and evidence-based teaching strategies to increase student engagement and achievement.

Salary: $126.00/day
