Head Track & Field Coach – Albany Area Schools

Description of Position and Duties:
The Head Track & Field Coach will be responsible for leading the Albany Huskies Track & Field program in alignment with the philosophy and rules of Albany Area Schools, the Albany Huskies Athletics Program, and the Minnesota State High School League (MSHSL).

This individual must be able to build strong, positive relationships and work successfully with student-athletes, assistant coaches, parents, community members, the Activities Director, school administration, and other coaches and programs within the district. Responsibilities include program leadership, athlete development, practice planning, meet preparation, supervision, and overall program management.

Scheduled Hours and Days Per Week:

Season runs from March – June

Practices and meets are scheduled throughout the season, including evenings and weekends

Off-season duties may include coordination of youth programs, camps, clinics, inventory, meetings, and other program-related responsibilities

Education Required / Qualifications:

Coaching experience required; head coaching experience preferred

Head Coaching Certification required

Applicants must meet all MSHSL coaching and concussion requirements
