DESCRIPTIVE STATEMENT

OF POSITION:

Paraeducator position in a self-contained classroom supporting students diagnosed with ASD (autism spectrum disorder).

Position requires the following:

Ability to work under the direction of the teacher, including collecting data;

Provide essential services to a student to meet educational goals and objectives;

Ability to collaborate with staff in and out of the classroom;

Strong organizational skills;

Behavior modification experience/ABA training required and/or willingness to be trained.

Safety Care-trained or willingness to be trained prior to the start of the school year.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Willingness to be Safety Care trained prior to the start of the school year; Ability to perform necessary physical activities to fulfill job responsibilities; Willingness to engage in ABA/behavior training.

SALARY:

Per Paraeducator Contract
