POSITION TITLE: Food Service Kitchen Manager for Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School
QUALIFICATIONS: 1. High School Diploma / Equivalent
2. Previous experience in food service preferred
3. Supervision experience preferred.
4. Demonstrated aptitude or competence for assigned responsibilities
5. Ability to apply technology to the performance responsibilities
REPORTS TO: Food Service Director
SUPERVISES: Food Service Assistants
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Supports the District's mission and goals.
2. Checks daily menu and assembles recipes.
3. Sets up serving line, utensils, trays, etc.
4. Prepares and sends supply orders and other required reports.
5. Adheres to all regulatory and sanitary guidelines when serving meals.
6. Cleans and sanitizes kitchen work areas and serving line.
7. Washes serving utensils, pans and trays.
8. Takes required inventories of food and supplies.
9. Assigns and supervises Food Services Assistants.
10. Oversees the use of the kitchen by all school staff and community members.
11. Promotes excellent customer relations.
12. Performs any other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by the Food Service Director.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: See current negotiated agreement by and between the M.S.A.D. #17 Board and the Oxford Hills Support Personnel. Support Personnel Contract
EVALUATION: Performance of the Food Services Satellite Kitchen Manager will be evaluated by the Food Service Director.
This position is 7 hrs/ day for 177 days (175 student days + 2 workshop days) + 12 paid holidays. Wage, benefit and leave options are outlined in the linked Support Personnel contract that is linked above.
