Family Liaison

Position Summary

The Family Liaison serves as a bridge between home and school, fostering positive relationships that support student success. The position includes outreach to families through phone calls, meetings, and home visits, helping families connect with school and community resources while promoting student attendance and engagement. 15-20 hours per week during the school year with limited summer hours.

Responsibilities

Build strong relationships with families.

Conduct family outreach through phone calls and home visits.

Support student engagement and attendance initiatives.

Connect families with school and community resources.

Collaborate with school staff to address student and family needs.

Assist with data collection on engagement efforts.

Assist with family engagement events and activities.

Qualifications

Experience working with children, families, schools, or community organizations preferred.

Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.

Bachelor’s Degree preferred

Social Service Experience preferred
