Transportation/Maintenance Shop Assistant

(Twelve Month- 240 Day Position)

Salary Range- $39,974-$50,728

Must be able to obtain a Commercial Driver's License with school bus endorsement directly after hire. Training will be provided.

Duties will include but are not limited to:

Assist with maintenance on school buses and system vehicles

Assist with general maintenance on school system facilities (including but not limited to plumbing, HVAC, refrigeration, electrical, and carpentry)

Assist with facility related projects within the school system

Drive bus for athletic events when needed

Drive bus for field trips when needed

Serve as a substitute bus driver when needed

This position will require flexible hours which may include occasional evenings, nights, and weekends

All other duties as assigned by the Director of Operations and superintendent
