Job Summary:
Coaches are expected to:
• provide guidance, training and encouragement to the team and individual athletes to set and reach academic and athletic goals.
• conduct a high quality, organized high school athletic program.
• maintain professionalism and exhibit effective communication skills with athletes, parents and fans.
• work cooperatively with faculty and staff.
• display high standards of ethics, integrity and honesty.
Qualifications:
-Evidence of coaching and/or management skills.
-Knowledge and experience in chosen sport.
-Documentation of a clear record as determined by a current BCI/FBI background check
-Valid Pupil Activity Permit or ability to receive one, and completion of required certifications:
• Fundamentals of Coaching
• Concussion in Sports
• CPR
• First Aid
• Sudden Cardiac Arrest
• Student Mental Health and Suicide Prevention
