Description
The Hermon School Department is seeking a Director of Special Services. Availability on an interim basis and/or a flexible work week January through June 2027 is a possibility.
Qualifications:
- Administrator of Special Education—030
- Master of Education in Special Education or Educational Administration / Leadership
- Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the School Committee may find appropriate.
Reports to: Superintendent
Supervises:
- Special education staff and support staff
- 504 Building Level Coordinators
- School Nurses
Job Goal:
Manage and direct the activities of the Special Services Department while implementing and delivering the following programs: special education, school nursing and health services, 504 plans, home instruction, McKinney-Vento EMCY, and auxiliary programs.
