The Wausau School District is seeking a Science Olympiad Advisor and Assistant Advisor at Wausau West High School.
Science Olympiad is an academic club where students work together to explore science, technology, engineering, and math through hands-on activities, experiments, and problem-solving challenges.
Students participate in a variety of events that encourage teamwork, critical thinking, creativity, and the application of classroom knowledge to real-world situations.
The club provides students with opportunities to learn new skills, work with others, and develop an interest in science and technology while preparing for competitions.
- Ability to work cooperatively and effectively with administrators, teachers, students, and parents in a professional manner
- Must be self-directed and possess strong communication, and organizationlal skills; and have the ability to support student learning in a variety of
educational settings.
