Full Time, Food Service Worker

A vacancy exists for a Full Time Food Service worker within the Norristown Area School District. This position will be located at Norristown Area High School.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent

Food service experience preferred

Prior cooking experience preferred (Schools, Nursing Homes, Hospitals, Restaurants, Etc.)

Valid clearances - FBI Fingerprints, Child Abuse & PA Criminal Background Clearances

Must be able to lift up to 40lbs

Duties & Responsibilities:

Quantity food production

Serve students according to meal counting and claiming procedures

Learn and understand basic regulations and specifications of the National School Lunch program

Perform routine tasks in food preparation as directed

Learn basic food safety and sanitation procedures

Schedule and Rate:

Monday- Friday

6:30am- 2:00pm

$18.39/ hour
