Until Filled - Maintain consistent communication with parents, students, and guidance counselors
- Weekly check-ins with students as required by state law.
- Have a thorough understanding of the online curricula in use
- Advise students, parents, and guidance counselors on course selection
- Work closely with Client Services to order new curriculum as needed
- Train students to effectively access all coursework and information
- Create schedules and pacing guides for students as needed
- Direct students to various resources and supplemental materials as needed
- Maintain accurate records for each student under supervision, including:
- distribution and return of equipment
- entry and withdrawal dates
- procurement of Internet services
- course enrollments
- Regularly monitor each student's academic progress and attendance.
- Contact each parent/student by phone biweekly, or more frequently as determined by the school and/or building principal
- Train students and parents to effectively check course progress and grades
- Serve as a liaison between the student, parent, online teacher facilitators, building principal, and other appropriate contacts, including (but not limited to) the Director of Special Services
- Maintain accurate correspondence logs, detailing all phone conversations and emails with any student or parent
- Contact Building Administrator and/or Truancy Coordinator if students are failing and/or truant at any time (normal communication between K-8 Online Coordinator and Truancy Officer should occur bi-weekly concerning at-risk students)
- Keep participating students and parents informed of school-related activities and events
- Assist in the students' participation in school-related activities and events

Minimum Requirements
PA Elementary Certification preferred
Experience working in an online environment preferred
