- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Meet Minnesota paraprofessional qualifications or be eligible to obtain them.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and basic technology skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and support students with varied learning needs.

St. James Public Schools is seeking a caring, dependable paraprofessional to support students at our Middle School/High School. Working alongside teachers and other school staff, this individual will help students succeed academically, behaviorally, and socially while encouraging independence and contributing to a safe, welcoming learning environment.

Required qualifications:
Previous experience working with children or supporting students with disabilities is preferred. CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain certification is also preferred.
The position involves frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and reaching, as well as assisting students physically when necessary. Essential functions may be performed with or without reasonable accommodation.
