Assignment: Special Education

(This is a vacancy due to a one year leave of absence)

Furnace Brook Middle School

35 hours per week

STARTING DATE:

As soon as possible for the 2026-2027 School Year

SALARY:

Educational Support Personnel Salary Schedule

ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIP OR LINE OF AUTHORITY:

Reports directly to Special Education Department Head, Building Principal, and Assistant Superintendent Student Services

QUALIFICATIONS:

Associate degree and/or BS/BA in education preferred.

Strong desire to work with special needs children.

Ability to work effectively with teachers and experience working with children at the middle school level.

High personal integrity, reliability, punctuality, ability to maintain confidentiality required.

Ability to work effectively as part of the Special Education team.
