Ola After School Assistant Teachers

Description of Service Opportunity:

Ola After School Teachers needed to support Portuguese Language Learners the K-5 Ola program schools at King Open. The Ola After school program will provide academic support In Portuguese language development in an interactive and social environment.
5 hours of work per week

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university, courses in second language acquisition, and/or applied linguistics. A minimum of 1-year experience working with multilingual learners in a linguistically diverse or urban school setting.
Proficiency in Portuguese is required.

Length of Contract:

October 1, 2026 through June 30, 2027

Contract Amount

Not exceed $4900.00

Please note that the contract has not yet been fully executed; therefore, it has not been posted, and the final agreed-upon terms are not yet available. At this time, we are continuing to follow the provisions of the previous contract regarding compensation, benefits, and other applicable terms.

Once the new contract has been fully executed, it will be posted on the CPSD Union Contracts page, linked here , which will provide access to the finalized agreement.
