Newport Middle School - Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution; K-8 New Hampshire elementary education certification, New Hampshire certification required 6-8 or 6-12 social studies, social studies 5-8 content specific, or ability to receive a statement of eligibility through the Department of Education.
- Must possess knowledge of effective practices including principles, theories, techniques involved in lesson plan development and classroom instruction.
- Strong classroom management skills including experience.

Responsible for social studies curriculum and instruction for middle school students.

REQUIRED:
PREFERRED: Two years or more of middle school teaching experience and experience with competency-based education.
SALARY RANGE: Per NTA contract.
