REGINA Preschool Assistant Teacher

Regina Catholic Schools, an exceptional Pre-K to 12th grade school in Iowa City, seeks a Preschool Assistant Teacher to join our dedicated team .

This person must be available to work the 7:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.

Responsibilities include:

Assisting in the implementation of age-appropriate lesson plans and activities to promote the physical, social, emotional, and intellectual development of young children.

Providing a safe and nurturing environment for children to lean and grow.

Fostering positive relationships with children, parents, and staff members.

Utilizing effective classroom management techniques to ensure a productive learning environment.

Assisting other teachers and staff members with activities and events.

Qualifications:

Experience working with young students in an early childhood education setting.

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.

Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices.

Ability to facilitate activities that promote literacy education, math skills, and overall child development.

Familiarity with DHS regulations and child safety guidelines.

Ability to educate and inspire young children through creative teaching methods.

Excellent classroom management skills to create a positive learning environment.

Experience working with Creative Curriculum is a plus.
