Part-Time Afternoon/Evening Custodian
Northwestern Elementary School – School District of Maple
The School District of Maple is seeking a dependable, hardworking individual to join our custodial team at Northwestern Elementary School. This part-time position is responsible for helping maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our students, staff, and visitors.
Work Schedule:

Monday–Friday, 3:20 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.
- September - June

Additional rotating Saturday hours as needed
Primary Responsibilities:

Perform general cleaning and custodial duties, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitizing.

Clean and maintain classrooms, restrooms, hallways, and common areas.

Empty trash and recycling receptacles.

Assist with building setup and cleanup for school activities and events.

Monitor building conditions and report maintenance or safety concerns.

Perform other custodial duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently.

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a clean and safe environment.

Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, standing, and walking for extended periods.

Previous custodial experience preferred but not required.

Ability to work cooperatively with staff and follow established safety procedures.
