A26/27 LIBRARY MEDIA ASST (187) (WASHINGTON-LIBERTY)

This is 0.5 FTE, working 187 days located at Washington-Liberty High School for the 2026-2027 school year.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Familiarity with library procedures and children’s literature.

Ability to work and to interact in a positive and courteous manner with all students, staff and parents.

Ability to follow written and oral instructions.

Patient, flexible, and dependable.

Performs clerical and instructional support work in the library/media center.

EXPERIENCE:

Experience working with a Library Media Specialist.

Experience working in secondary school setting.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Assistants must must satisfy certain requirements.

A high school diploma, and an Associate Degree or two years of college study. At least 60 semester hours. OR

A score of at least 455 on the Parapro Test.

Salary: A-Scale (Benefit Eligible): $24.60–$46.70 per hour
